A market-leading learning technologies company is seeking a Learning Design Consultant to join their expanding UK team. The Learning Design Consultant will take ownership of developing creative, forward-thinking learning solutions, working across multiple sectors and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for scoping and delivering impactful digital and blended training programmes, ensuring each solution is tailored, commercially viable, and of the highest quality. As a Learning Design Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in pre-sales, Discovery phases, and project delivery. Your expertise will drive content strategy, learning innovation, and solution design – leveraging methodologies like gamification, Design Thinking, and generative AI to meet client objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Develop bespoke learning solutions aligned with client needs, budgets, and timelines * Lead the creative strategy for projects during pre-sales and Discovery * Design and present training proposals, including bid documentation * Work collaboratively with project managers, content teams, and subject matter experts * Ensure all learning experiences follow human-centred design principles * Analyse content for relevance, quality, and accessibility * Support KPIs, ROI tracking and learner engagement metrics for clients * Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback, innovation, and research * Act as an ambassador for best practices and emerging trends in learning design About You: * 4+ years of experience in the e-learning industry in a similar role * Knowledge of learning principals and how they apply to distance learning * Experience converting face-to-face courses into online & blended learning * Commercially astute with strong communication and consultancy skills * Proficient in authoring tools such as Storyline 360, Captivate, Netex Author * Proven experience in designing digital and blended learning solutions * Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously, managing stakeholders at all levels * Passion for learning innovation, new technologies, and best practices * Knowledge of learning science, microlearning, immersive experiences, AI, VR/AR * Comfortable presenting to clients and leading discovery sessions This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Design Consultant seeking their next challenge in a high-impact, forward-thinking organisation.
