We\’re currently recruiting a Warehouse Planner for a Global 3rd Party Logistics Company based in Redditch. The successful candidate must always be in full control and be able to communicate at the highest level. We\’re looking for a candidate with a can-do attitude and take pride in the job, with transport / logistic experience. This role is working in a small team of people and collaboration is key. Duties required include: * Checking and clearing receipts on the system and resolving stock discrepancies in a timely manner * Receiving customer enquiries/orders, processing picks and loading them accurately onto the system * Despatching orders on the system and arranging transport * Closing out job files by obtaining POD and any other required information * Running reports from the system as required by customers and management * Updating and reporting customer KPIs * Collating accurate information for customer charge reports ready for Month end invoicing The successful candidate will have the following key skills/experience: * Ideally a transport background, either UK/EU or worldwide * Used to working in a busy environment * Able to deal with stressful situations (line stoppage risks and high-profile shipments) * Self-managing with good attention to detail * Methodical and thorough approach to work * Highly organised with the ability to remain focussed under pressure * Ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet all requirements * Ability to adhere to processes * Flexible – a “team player” * Prioritising workload Additional details and company benefits: Working hours – Monday to Friday 08.00 – 16:30 (30 min break) some weekend working may be required during busy periods Salary – £26,000 per annum 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with option to purchase up to an additional 5 days.
