Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Coatbridge Salary: Up to £35k Reporting to: Engineering Manager Responsibilities Liaise with design and production to interpret customer / design needs into suitable shop floor instructions. Encourage and suggest design for manufacture principles during product design. Investigate production or design issues, develop solutions to improve quality or efficiency, develop action plans and follow up to conclusion. Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate wastes and improve production efficiency / quality. Lead and or support improvement projects. Work with other functions as part of the manufacturing team & prioritise work as agreed. Liaise with 3rd party certification bodies i.e. Lloyds /DNV.
