This prestigious multi-disciplinary consultancy is now recruiting for an electrical Design Graduate to join their established MEP building services design team in Birmingham. The MEP team is delivering high quality sustainable engineering design solutions to a range of commercial clients across all areas of construction. focusing on large prestigious international MEP projects to smaller bespoke projects. Taking projects from concept, through detailed, electrical, and mechanical design, construction, commissioning and finally handover to the client. A very high standard of training will be provided and opportunities to develop design skills for the suitable candidate, with further support to achieve chartered engineer status, graduates with no commercial experience will be considered, as will graduates with 1-2 yrs experience. Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities * Prepare electrical designs * Produce required calculations working with building services design software * Provide assistance and tender support * Engaging with clients, customers, suppliers, contractors, DNO’s in a professional manner * Liaise with manufacturers during design, installation and commissioning * Travel may be required for the role * Ensure project compliance with all relevant standards and health & Safety requirements * Essential Requirements Skills/Qualifications * Degree with Electrical engineering modules or building services degree. * Ideally, ability to use AutoCAD, revit, IES/VE * Ability to use Excel for calculations
