MIG Welder / Fabricator
£14.79 to £17.79 per hour / £25,360 – £36,083 basic + overtime
39 hours per week (Plenty of optional, paid overtime available – some are working 120 hours extra a month at 1.33 = £60k+ OTE)
06:30 – 15:30 (Mon to Thurs) and 06:30 – 11:30 (Fridays) or 07:30 – 16:30 (Mon to Thurs) and 07:30 – 12:30 (Fridays)

We are working in partnership with a marketing-leading manufacturing company in the Maidstone area who are looking for a MIG Welder to join their busy, close-knit fabrication department. The successful Welder will have experience with mild steel welding, there is also stainless-steel welding available as well. The majority of the senior management team within the fabrication team of 35/36 have been promoted from the tools and lead by example and experience. This is an amazing opportunity to join a supportive, busy company who truly care with excellent benefits available.
The duties for this MIG Welder will include but not be limited to:
- Reading engineering drawings and specifications and to plan layout, assembly and welding operations.
- Pre-heating and cleaning metals, laying out, cutting and fitting materials for welding.
- Carrying out flat, vertical and horizontal welding, coating non ferrous metals, inspecting brush and grind welds.
- Developing templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
