Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, in their search for a Despatch Manager to work in their leading facility in Kinnerly, near Oswestry.

For the successful Despatch Manager, our client is offering:

  • Salary of £35,000 Per Annum
  • 8am – 5pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Permanent position
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Company pension
  • Company social events

Role

  • As a Despatch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the despatch operations and managing a team of Supervisors and Despatch Operatives across multiple shift patterns.
  • Your role will involve ensuring the smooth flow of goods out of the facility, maintaining accurate stock levels, meeting challenging Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and following differing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) per client.
  • You\’ll act as the key point of contact for your team and our internal Client Account Managers.
  • Responsible for team leadership, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and optimising and training processes that will help maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • This position requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maybe required at times to work evening shifts or the weekends.
