We currently have permanent opportunities for Production Operatives to join our Portion and Wholebirds teams in Willand, Devon.

  • This post is working AM or PM, Monday to Friday
  • The hours of work and shift patterns available is: 5:30am – 2:30pm (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), 5:30am – 1:30pm (Tuesday) OR 3:30pm – 0:00am (Monday to Friday)

We currently have permanent opportunities for Production Operatives to join our Portion and Wholebirds teams in Willand, Devon.

  • This post is working AM or PM, Monday to Friday
  • The hours of work and shift patterns available is: 5:30am – 2:30pm (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), 5:30am – 1:30pm (Tuesday) OR 3:30pm – 0:00am (Monday to Friday)
  • £12.21 – £12.56 per hour

Main Responsibilities:

Working within a chilled factory environment, you will be handling raw meat. Your key responsibilities will be to process and pack food products for top retail customers in a busyfactory environment.

Within the Portions team you will be working with portions of the bird including the breast, leg, thigh and drumsticks. Within the Wholebirds team, you will be working with the whole bird and will need to truss the bird.

You will be placing the raw product into packaging trays according to our customer specification. The position requires excellent attention to detail as you will be required to weigh the product to match the relevant order.

Ideal Candidate:

No Experience Required – full training will be given

As a Production Operative, you will have a passion for delivering high standards whilst making sure our H&S, Food Safety and Quality standards are met. You will be prepared to learn and work well in a busy, fast paced environment.
