Logistics Assistant
Salary: to £25,250 per annum
Liverpool 13. Office based
A very well established UK provider of healthcare software requires a Logistics Assistant to join their team in Liverpool. Excellent opportunity for long term employment with career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up new equipment for deployment.
- Correct handing and correct storage of equipment. This will include some manual handling including lifting and moving equipment and stock.
- Accurate recording of equipment information and movement tracking.
- Servicing returned equipment including minor repairs and fault finding.
- Handling of incoming surface mail.
- Maintaining the security, integrity and confidentiality of data and information to which they are provided access during the course of their work.
- Supporting staff with administration tasks.
- General office duties as directed by senior staff.
- Maintain an awareness and actively comply with the current Information Governance (IG) and Information Security (IS) standards and policies in force .
- Achieve the required standard when examined, following mandatory in house or role specific online training.
Key Competencies:
- Good IT skills including:
- General use of Windows based PCs, the Internet and email;
- Use of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel.
- Familiarity with Android based product.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Well organised and presentable to customers.
- Able to talk with customers on the phone and face-to-face.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and within a team.
