Job Description:

Description: The Dealer Financial Distribution Officer prospects, develops, cultivates, and maintains relationships with dealer customers. The role involves acquiring indirect business, selling TD Bank Dealer Commercial Services products, and expanding relationships within the region. The focus is on increasing profitable retail, remarketing, and commercial business while maintaining a profitable dealer portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage relationships with auto dealers for all TD products, monitor dealer performance, and take appropriate actions.
  2. Understand and apply differentiated services to grow and maintain profitable relationships.
  3. Meet with dealers to discuss lending products, develop strategies, and assess needs.
  4. Develop new business through prospect meetings, qualifying prospects, and presenting solutions.
  5. Visit customers regularly to ensure service levels, resolve issues, and deliver sales presentations.
  6. Provide training and mentorship to staff.
  7. Contribute to policy development and develop indirect business according to company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  1. 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 5+ years related experience.
  3. Extensive knowledge of dealer finance, indirect consumer lending, and credit decisions.
  4. Strong account management and negotiation skills.
  5. Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively.
  6. Proficient PC skills.
