Novalis Trust, is a charity that supports children and adults with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties and other learning needs. The Adult Support Worker role is based at Paradise House, a residential home for people aged 18-65.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Supporting residents to engage in activities, build skills and enabling them to live purposeful, happy and independent lives.
- Accessing community activities and services
- Fun and laughter whilst taking part in many different activities for leisure and skills development.
Benefits for this role include:
- Excellent training opportunities, including a Level 4 Certificate in Trauma Informed Care.
- Salary £30,724.20 per annum
- Staff supported in a community setting with good team relationships
- Equivalent of 5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata

Requirements for this role are:
- Some experience of working with people in a person-centered way is desirable but not essential.
- An ability to adapt your approach to individual needs and come up with creative solutions to overcome challenges will also help
