We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant for Upper Key Stage 2 who will work within an exciting and vibrant school. You should be a positive and proactive person who loves working with children and helping them to strive for their best.
Children will be at the heart of your work. You must be able to demonstrate that you understand the importance of educating the whole child, that you want the very best for them and are prepared to put their needs first.
The successful candidate will need to be a positive role model with high expectations of the child in your care. Our pupils are at the centre of everything we do and when we were inspected by Ofsted in January 2022, not only did we receive a ‘good’ grade, but they commented on our focus on developing positive relationships and our inclusive nature.
We would really like to meet you, if you enjoy working with children and have the ability to inspire learning and support development. You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with children and adults, have a flexible attitude, be friendly and approachable. Experience of working with children, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative are essential. You will be expected to lead the class for some lessons each week.
