Are you an Automotive Test Engineer, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for future vehicle development? If so Expleo have the opportunity for you. We are seeking a Test Engineer with experience within Infotainment and HMI, to support the Electrical & Electronic (EE) Test team, on behalf of our globally successful Automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis. Test Engineer responsibilities include: * Develop testing methods & procedures for validation of Infotainment, display, and/ or parking systems * Ensure vehicle level quality, function and reliability standards are maintained * Creation and management of Tests including test planning, result analysis and reporting * Root cause investigation * Field investigation support on occasion * Management of suppliers Background and skills required for the Test Engineer position: * Ideally Degree level qualified * Understand electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices * Experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment * Familiar with digital oscilloscopes, and basic electrical test equipment * Understand network communications ie CAN * Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections Flexibility to travel, and a valid driving license are required for this role.
