Overview

I’m supporting a thriving business, as they bolster their small, but talented IT team. The role will be providing 1st/2nd line support to a large user base, answering and resolving queries and technical challenges. The role is working on a busy helpdesk, supporting colleagues with different support queries, mainly resolvable using M365 admin centre. That said the support team help rectify tickets across sharepoint, internal business systems and networking challenges too. A solid aptitude for security, including firewall and endpoint resolution will be needed too. Experience of conducting daily routines including server back up checks (Azure and VMWare) would be highly desirable. The role will also be involved in small IT projects and will be involved in upgrades/new installs. This role will suit a real all rounder with a passion for good customer service and rapport building. The role is paying £28-30,000 plus a really strong set of benefits. It will be on site, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Experience in 1st/2nd line IT support and working on a busy helpdesk.
  • Solid aptitude for IT security (firewall and endpoint resolution).
  • Experience with server backup checks (Azure and VMware).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin centre, SharePoint, internal business systems and networking.
