This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week at our Head Office in Diss.
Summary of the role:
The role has responsibility of being a Finance Assistant in the Management Accounts team.
The principal aspects of the role are:
- Support and assist the Management Accountants to enable them to fulfil their core responsibilities to the business at the highest level;
- Assist in the month end process by collating and processing data for input into the financial systems, ensuring the process is understood;
- Assist in the reconciliation of monthly balance sheets;
- Assist in the review of nominal ledgers, making accruals and prepayments for income and costs accordingly;
- Assist in maintaining the email inboxes and dealing with queries from the across the business;
- Assist the Management Accountants in the resolution of queries received from the Management Accounts Manager and other colleagues across the business;
- Assist in ad hoc tasks as directed by the Management Accountant
Key Skills Required:
- Part qualified or AAT Qualified or equivalent (preferred)
- Good Excel skills
- Good oral communication skills
- Good organisational skills
