We are looking for a Laboratory Analyst to undertake analysis of formulation and inhalation samples at our site near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop or improve existing analytical methodology under the guidance of senior Dose Analysis personnel.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all Formulation & Inhalation Analysis techniques and instrumentation.
  • Undertake method validation, analyze samples for studies, and prepare formal analytical methods.
  • Update study management and the Study Director on the status of studies.
  • Prepare draft reports for studies.
  • Assist in training new staff in analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of UK and international GLP regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs.

Qualifications:

  • BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry or Chemistry.

Experience:

  • Experience may substitute education.
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment.
  • Basic computer and software skills.
  • GLP experience.
  • Technical experience in chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC, LCMS).

Note: The role can be adjusted for new graduates, with understanding of GLP and chromatography techniques being essential.
