As a Delegated Authority Technician, you will work alongside experienced professionals to oversee a diverse portfolio of Coverholders, Service Companies and Consortia. With a focus on bordereaux oversight, you will handle everything from onboarding and monitoring to renewals and terminations, all while developing strong relationships with internal teams, brokers and market stakeholders. Key responsibilities:

  • Process and monitor bordereaux data, ensuring accuracy and timely uploads to internal systems and Lloyd’s platforms.
  • Support the approval and renewal of Coverholders, including due diligence, drafting agreements and coordinating sign-offs.
  • Manage lineslips and consortia in line with internal procedures and market standards.
  • Maintain high-quality data entry, reporting and system updates to support underwriting and finance teams.
  • Resolve audit recommendations and ensure conduct risk reviews are carried out effectively.
  • Contribute to internal projects and engage with market initiatives to strengthen delegated authority practices.

Experience you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a delegated authority function within the London insurance market.
  • Familiarity with Lloyd’s requirements and systems including DCOM, DDM and Atlas.
  • Strong data handling and analysis skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator who can work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with bordereaux management systems and Excel.
