Job Description
Job Title: SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) Contractor
Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)
Contract Length: 2 months (potential to extend)
Day Rate: Flexible depending on experience (Outside IR35)
We're on the lookout for a strong SuiteCommerce Advanced contractor to help with ongoing development work across our NetSuite platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who's confident working across both Front End and Back End customisations within SCA, with a solid understanding of SuiteScript and the wider NetSuite ecosystem.
You'll be working closely with the internal tech team and business stakeholders to deliver improvements to the website, custom modules, and integrations. It's a mix of project and BAU work – ideal for someone comfortable owning tasks end-to-end without much hand-holding.
What you'll be doing:

Building and maintaining custom features on our SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) site

Writing SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x) to handle Back End logic and custom workflows

Implementing changes to Front End templates and layout files (JavaScript, SCSS, HTML)

Troubleshooting bugs, performance issues and working through fixes independently

Working with third-party integrations (payments, shipping, analytics etc.)

Supporting deployments, testing, and version control using Git

Feeding into technical discussions and helping shape future improvements
What we're looking for:

Solid hands-on experience with SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA)

Strong working knowledge of SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x

Comfortable working with JavaScript, Backbone.js, jQuery, HTML, and SCSS

Good understanding of NetSuite records, workflows, saved searches, etc.

Familiarity with the Commerce Extension Framework and SSP architecture

Able to work independently, manage your own time, and communicate clearly with stakeholders

Experience using Git and working in a structured development environment
Nice to have (but not essential):

NetSuite certifications (eg SuiteCloud Developer, SuiteFoundation)

Experience working in retail/eCommerce businesses
