With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our Talent Operations team, with the addition of a HR Operations Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Reward and benefits
- Support in the administration of UK&I employee and partner benefits provisions, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with the creation of communication materials to drive engagement about available rewards and benefits.
- Help conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure our rewards and benefits packages remain competitive within the industry.
- Support the coordination of benefit enrolment periods and assist employees with benefits-related queries.
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and firm policies when handling sensitive employee information.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits.
- Coordinate with third party suppliers to resolve claims, discrepancies, and billing issues.
- Support and contribute towards the upkeep of our online benefits portal.
Operations
- Support the Talent Operations team in projects and initiatives to offer a best in class service.
- Support with updating and maintaining Talent policies and procedures.
- Process and track benefit invoices checking accuracy of third party reporting and progressing in a timely manner.
- Support the wider Talent Operations and Advisory team with operational projects and requests e.g. reporting, data integrity, MI.
Payroll
- Support the Payroll Advisor with the monthly payroll cycle, providing administrative support where required.
- Support with covering the payroll mailbox when required, for example when the Payroll Advisor is on leave.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
Experience of operating in a similar role within professional services is desirable, together with a tenacity for detail and delivering excellent client service. Legal sector experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to help across a multi-site team.
- Ability to prioritise work, be highly organised and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Cultural awareness.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proof reading skills.
- Excellent people skills (including influencing) – need to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with strong influencing skills.
- Work well and effectively under pressure.
- Team player but able to work under own initiative.
- Flexible and accommodating. On occasions there will be the need to work outside of office hours at events or to travel to our other UK offices.
- Computer literacy: including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Creative with plenty of ideas and enthusiasm.
- Customer service oriented.

- Hybrid working (Offering the opportunity to work remotely, while maintaining a social boundary by working from our award-winning offices for 3 days a week)
- Holiday (Our basic annual holiday entitlement starts at 25 days, with a further discretionary day of paid leave in December. You may also purchase up to five extra days each year (pro rata).
- Enhanced Maternity and Paternity leave (After one-year service, you are entitled to up to 26 weeks leave full pay if you or your partner give birth or adopt a child).
