A leading manufacturer with a strong UK and global presence is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Specialist to take ownership of the manufacturing and distribution streams within their ERP environment.
The business operates on Microsoft Dynamics AX and is focused on improving usage, streamlining processes, and integrating future solutions such as MES. This is a process-led, people-focused position where you’ll support users, identify operational inefficiencies, and drive meaningful change.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the manufacturing and distribution streams within the ERP system
- Support operational teams to improve system usage and drive adoption
- Conduct process reviews and deliver user-friendly training and documentation
- Collaborate on MES integration and other business improvement initiatives
- Maintain data accuracy and support day-to-day issue resolution
- Work closely with third-party developers and internal IT as needed
What we’re looking for
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and process flows
- Hands-on ERP experience (AX, D365, SAP, NAV or similar)
- Experience improving business processes and driving adoption
- Ability to work collaboratively across business functions
- Confident communicator who can engage from shop floor to exec level
Location & flexibility The role is Midlands based hybrid role
Salary £45,000 – £50,000 + Benefits
