Job Description

TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer in Crawley/Croydon/South London area. The work involved will be working on the railway network or in a commercial or industrial setting for a large award-winning electrical company. \\n \\n In this position, you will be responsible for conducting fixed wire testing and providing outstanding service to our clients while working trackside.

Your expertise in performing EICRs within the railway network, as well as in commercial or industrial environments, will be essential to delivering excellent results.\\nWorking hours – 45 hours per week\\nSalary – £42,000 – £55,000, depending on experience\\nLocation – Crawley, Croydon, South London.Your duties will be yet not limited to\\nPerform EICRs using your deep understanding of both single and three-phase systems\\nCarry out electrical repairs and minor works across the South London rail network\\nBe prepared for flexible working hours, including occasional stays away from home and weekend shifts\\nKeep detailed administrative records of all work completed, coordinating with the Helpdesk for planned maintenance and reporting\\n Requirements\\nCity & Guilds 2360 or 2365 Level 3, or equivalent to BS7671 18th edition\\nNVQ Level 3 including AM2\\nCity & Guilds or equivalent (phone number removed)\\nCurrent PTS certificate is required along with IPAF and PASMA certifications (desirable).  ECS JIB registration is also ideal.
