We are currently seeking Commercial Managers to join our Buildings group in the North. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in our business as we continue to expand across the UK&I. This role can be based across any of our offices in the North including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester and Leeds.

As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that we have a healthy, profitable and sustainable business, whilst ensuring we effectively manage and balance business risk and growth. You will oversee the commercial elements of projects, assist with bids, and develop commercial control processes, whilst meeting business objectives and providing opportunities for commercial improvements.

You will work with our Leadership Team to develop, implement and improve strong and controlled regional commercial strategies to enable sustainable business growth.

You will build and maintain strong working relationships with Client and Partner Commercial Leads and use these links to review performance, identify opportunities for improvement and be a key escalation route for resolution of project level issues.

About you

Ideally qualified with a relevant degree, you will be an experienced Commercial Manager with a solid understanding of how to work with professional services teams in a non-hierarchical organisation to deliver improvements and change.

Experience in the Buildings or Construction sector is essential while experience in a similar consultancy environment would be highly regarded.

You will have strong commercial acumen, strong business analysis skills and the ability to interpret and understand complex financial systems and reports.

You will have the ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners. You will have a high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to ensure that the best possible service is given to internal and external clients.
