The School and Role
This Secondary SEND school based in Stockton-on-Tees is looking to appoint a passionate SEND Secondary Teacher to work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis.
Working in this Secondary SEND school as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teacher will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviour. This full time Secondary SEND Teacher role is long term from September ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person. The desired SEND Secondary Teacher will teach a range of subjects.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Secondary Teacher you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
- Have experience of working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour.
- A passion for the progress of SEND secondary school pupils.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
