The Gifford School is a private special education day school located in Weston, Massachusetts and works with students with a variety of social, emotional, and learning challenges.
We currently have Assistant Teacher positions available.
Position Type: 10 months/full time (40 hours)Monday Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm, Friday 7:30am-3pm
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
Prior experience working with children with special needs, preferred
Ability to make lessons fun and dynamic for students
Ability to develop an understanding of special needs population and therapeutic milieu
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
