The Role: Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded, independent specialist vehicle workshop located on the outskirts of Winchester. We are seeking a skilled and flexible MOT Tester to join their professional team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester who is looking for a better work-life balance, offering flexible working hours, our client can consider someone 4 days per week, with options to work mornings, afternoons, or full days, depending on your availability and preferences. They are very flexible. You’ll be working in a modern, clean, and well-equipped facility, inspecting and testing a broad mix of vehicles, from daily drivers to classic and prestige cars. Responsibilities & Requirements of a Part-Time MOT Tester: Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards. Accurately complete MOT documentation and reports. Ensure all inspections are carried out safely and efficiently. Maintain workshop cleanliness and contribute to a positive working environment. Assist with general workshop tasks if and when required (optional). Hold a valid MOT Testing licence (Class 4 minimum). Full UK driving licence essential. What We’re Looking For: A qualified and DVSA approved MOT Tester. Someone looking for part-time work with a flexible approach to scheduling. Experience with a wide range of vehicles is an advantage but not essential. A reliable team player who takes pride in quality and safety. Package: Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum – based on experience and agreed hours. Hours: Flexible, choose from mornings, afternoons, or full days, 4 days per week. No weekends.
