Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading semiconductor manufacturer, working on devices for the defence sector. With a 10-year plan, they are a progressive teams with lots of room for growth.
This is a permanent, full time on site position.
Site Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and oversee the commissioning andmaintenance of all new and existing electrical installations on site, ranging from 11,000v down to 100v systems.
- Perform fault finding, diagnostic and optimisation activities across site electrical and instrumentation system and equipment
- Ensure costs are minimised without compromising the quality of the service provided and to check operational control
- Assist the O&M Group to solve electrical problems,ensuring minimum disruption to the plant.
- Produce maintenance schedules and manuals as necessary and approve these and other key technical documents for use within the department.
- Assist in the production of electrical system designs for process and utilities systems.
- Prepare documentation, write reports and give presentations as necessary.
- Provide technical data and documentation require for the preparation of proposals
Site Electrical Engineer Key Requirements:
- Experienceworking on LV/HV distribution systems within an industrial/facilities environment
- Demonstrable xperience of electrical HV switching
- Good knowledge of motors control systems and circuits (DOL, S/D, VSD)
- Ability to organise and motivate a team and to delegate work to others
- Ability to work within a multi-trades team
- Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering
- IEE 16th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Must be a British Citizen and willing to be Security Check (SC) cleared
