We are looking for a Bank Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Westbrook House in Cardiff. You will work with a dedicated team committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, treating our residents as we would our own family.
You will assist the Cook and work as part of a Catering Team to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals for residents.
Duties Include:
- Assist the chef with food preparation
- Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents
- Load and unload dishwashers, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher
- Clean kitchen and equipment
- Collect and distribute crockery to/from care floors
- Clear tea trolleys as needed
- Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas tidy
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Follow instructions from Senior Chef/Chef
- Meet residents\’ nutritional needs
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and regulations
Full training will be provided, including leadership development opportunities within Shaw.
