Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist forensic psychology services to adults with learning disabilities and complex mental health issues, including those with challenging behaviors or offending histories.
- Deliver high-quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) psychological interventions, exercising autonomous judgment and professional responsibility.
- Ensure clinical effectiveness through research, development activities, and training others relevant to the service area.
- Supervise trainee and assistant psychologists within this specialization.
