Main duties of the job

  1. Provide specialist forensic psychology services to adults with learning disabilities and complex mental health issues, including those with challenging behaviors or offending histories.
  2. Deliver high-quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) psychological interventions, exercising autonomous judgment and professional responsibility.
  3. Ensure clinical effectiveness through research, development activities, and training others relevant to the service area.
  4. Supervise trainee and assistant psychologists within this specialization.
