Roles and responsibilities
Your role will be to support the agency team colleagues in delivering all assigned projects on time and to the highest standards across a number of large grocery client accounts. You will work with the store teams to consistently lead by example, providing a safe and legal environment for both colleagues and customers. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the dressing plans/planograms, and support and manage all team members throughout the project including attendance and productivity. You will maintain regular communication with the Store Management and Project Manager to ensure issues are raised and resolved.
Flexibility is key; the hours and days of work will be project-dependent, generally involving 11-hour shifts. While efforts are made to regionalize work, travel and overnight stays may be required.
A full UK driving licence is advantageous; you may need to transport workers in pool cars, but applications from non-drivers are also considered.
What you need to do
- Understand the project scope and objectives from the start
- Coordinate with Store Management for relevant information prior to project start
- Manage onsite team, ensuring proper dress code, punctuality, and overseeing breaks
- Define and communicate scope of works for each shift
- Maintain health and safety standards, PPE, fire safety, etc.
- Ensure timely and accurate project delivery, keeping the site clean and organized
- Ensure installation of equipment, stock, and advertising as required
- Monitor and communicate project progress to relevant parties
- Lead by example, motivate the team, and support colleagues
- Handle company property with care and respect
- Report performance issues to management
- Complete necessary administration, including timesheets, reports, and photographs
The ideal candidate will need to be:
- Proficient in IT systems
- Experienced with large grocery accounts (preferred)
- Skilled in administration, warehouse, and shop floor procedures
- Knowledgeable of display and merchandising techniques, including planogram and layout design
- Familiar with merchandising and installation processes
Additional information
- Hourly rate: up to £13.82 on days and £13.99 on nights, depending on experience
- Weekly pay
- Temporary basis, with ongoing projects on days, nights, and weekends
