We are seeking a committed and innovative Team Manager with strong leadership skills to oversee our Mental Health Hospital Liaison Team. You will lead a multidisciplinary team supporting The Rotherham Hospital Foundation Trust in the effective assessment and treatment of individuals with mental health issues. This includes providing emergency assessments within the Urgent & Emergency Care Centre and on inpatient wards.

Ideal candidates will be passionate about urgent mental health care, working closely with crisis and home treatment leads to improve services continually. You will collaborate with external partners to ensure parity of mental and physical health needs and to operate the service safely, effectively, and efficiently within the wider health and social care system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for the Rotherham Mental Health Liaison Team, ensuring high-quality, person-centered service delivery.
  • Lead the development and ongoing improvement of the service, working closely with the leadership team and building relationships with key figures from the acute Trust.
  • Assist in developing and implementing integrated care pathways.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Promote positive intra-agency collaboration.
  • Support the development and implementation of clinical and operational practices and procedures.
  • Participate in recruitment, selection, and induction of new staff.
  • Establish, maintain, and evaluate effective communication processes within the team.
  • Provide performance data and analyze KPIs to ensure timely access to services for patients.
