ABC Teachers are seeking experienced Primary School Teachers to cover PPA across all primary ages in the Tamworth area from September 2025. This role will be on a day-to-day / part-time basis, perfect for those that need the flexibility!
About the role
In this role, you will be working with students at all primary school ages and be teaching a variety of different subjects at a Primary level including basic Maths, English and science.
You will be working along-side a dedicated team of staff members to help develop children s educational skills from an early age to help them reach their full potential.
Due to the nature of PPA cover you will enjoy the perks of classroom teaching without all the planning and preparation that usually comes along-side it.
With this role, we can be flexible to fit in with you to make sure you have the work life balance you may be looking for. All you need to do is let us know which days you re available and we will find suitable local work to support you.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of PPA Cover Teacher in Tamworth, you will:
- Have previous experience teaching in classes in all age groups at a Primary school level.
- Have a strong willingness to work as part of a driven team of staff while creating a strong working relationship with your colleagues.
- Be able to adapt to fit each classroom you will be covering throughout the day.
- Hold a valid QTS
- Hold or be willing to obtain suitable references from the last 2 years.
- Have or be able to obtain a suitable DBS on the update service.
