Job Description:

Waythrough’s Wingfield Resource Centre is seeking a Casual Recovery Worker to join their team in Redhill. The role involves supporting individuals in mental health crisis or requiring preventative support, operating from 6pm to 11pm every night of the year.

You will help clients maintain their tenancy and independence, develop personal support plans, and assist with skills like domestic and finance management or accessing opportunities in work, leisure, or education. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. Candidates with understanding of mental health issues or lived experience are welcomed.

The role requires a caring, compassionate, empathetic, and enthusiastic attitude. Ability to work independently and in a team, and willingness to participate in a weekly rota and on-call duties, are essential.
