Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Temp to Perm Bench Joiner, based in Hartlepool. Our Client is looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join their workshop team assembling bespoke doors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong DIY skills, general woodwork experience, or a background as a handy person. However, you don\’t need to be a fully qualified joiner – just bring your enthusiasm, reliability, and attention to detail. Training will be provided.
Bench Joiner Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Assemble bespoke doors to a high standard
- Fit hinges, ironmongery, and glazing to doors
- Follow written instructions and assembly guides accurately
- Check the quality of work at every stage
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Safety conscious, Confident using hand and power tools
- Good general knowledge of woodwork or handy-person tasks
- Able to follow written instructions and work independently
- Strong eye for detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
