Role and Facility Information

General ENT & Pediatric Otolaryngology Surgeon – the Division of Otolaryngology, within the Department of Surgery at Surrey Memorial Hospital is seeking a part‑time (0.5 FTE) Otolaryngology Surgeon trained in General and Pediatric ENT.

The successful applicant is expected to assume care for secondary and tertiary General ENT and pediatric ENT patients, as well as secondary and tertiary otology patients. The applicant will also be responsible for training medical students and contributing to the medical literature.

The group is affiliated with the University of British Columbia (UBC), Division of Otolaryngology, providing teaching opportunities for medical students and residents. As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the UBC medical education programme and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Otolaryngology Surgery, UBC.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are expected. Adaptability to fit within the existing structure and willingness to work as a team member are requirements. The applicant will also accept an on‑call assignment within the otolaryngology group at Fraser Health.
