Job description

Location of post: Dwr Y Felin Road (Junction with Twyn Teg)

Contract: Permanent

Working Style: Your workstyle in this role will require you to work from a fixed workplace.

We are currently seeking an outgoing individual to join our team as a School Crossing Patrol. You will be part of our Road Safety Team made up of individuals delivering education, training to a wide audience within the community and schools. You will be part of a School Crossing Patrol team working across the borough contributing to making the journey to and from school safer.

As a School Crossing Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for the safe gathering of pedestrians in preparation for road crossing, the stopping of traffic as necessary and the supervision of pedestrians when crossing the road.

Your daily routine will be to work for two hours a day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The post requires the gathering and safe road crossing of pedestrians whilst crossing the road.
