What you would do as our Trade Marketing Assistant / Coordinator
We are looking for an ambitious Trade Marketing Assistant to support the execution of trade marketing activities and promotional campaigns for the Yale Brand in EMEIA. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing retail marketing strategies, coordinating with regional sales and trade marketing teams, and ensuring brand visibility in various sales channels. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow in the field of trade marketing and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
You would also:
- Support Trade Marketing Initiatives: Assist in the development and execution of trade marketing campaigns, in-store promotions, planograms, and point-of-sale (POS) materials.
- Coordinate Retail & Merchandising: Help ensure proper placement of marketing materials, displays, and promotions across different retail and trade channels.
- Do Data & Market Analysis: Collect and analyze market data, competitor activities, and sales trends to provide insights for marketing strategies.
- Support Sales Team: Work closely with regional sales teams to provide them with the necessary promotional tools, materials, and product information.
- Assist in organizing trade events, exhibitions, product launches, and in-store activations.
- Be responsible for administrative tasks like tracking expenses, and handle reporting on promotional activities.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant experience.
- Has experience in trade marketing, sales, or retail, or experience in home security; smart home security experience is a plus.
- Has basic knowledge of marketing principles and retail execution and is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, CRM and CMS software, and planogram tools.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and is highly organized and detail-oriented.
