Job Overview
After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistant at KOOSA Kids, Twickenham, London (TW2)
Part-time, Term Time Only – Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 6:00pm. Pay up to £12.25 per hour plus holiday pay.
Responsibilities
- Assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the club at Bishop Perrin C of E Primary School.
- Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and proactively encourage children to participate.
- Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of snack time.
- Have awareness of and maintain sensitivity for any children with additional needs (physical, behaviour, dietary).
- Develop strong relationships with all children at the club ensuring every child has as much FUN as possible.
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding.
- Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
Qualifications & Skills
- Passion or interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
- Fun and energetic nature.
- Reliability and effective communication with colleagues and children alike.
- Ability to relate and engage with children aged 4 to 11.
