Job Summary:
Directors and Senior Managers assist partners in project scoping, budgeting, client engagement, and management. They are responsible for project execution, client relationships, drafting and reviewing deliverables, and practice development. They also train junior staff.
The Director/Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing, requires expertise in tax transfer pricing rules and economics of intercompany transactions to provide consulting services to corporate clients. They work with a team to develop, plan, and execute transfer pricing projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
People:
- Create a positive team member experience.
- Develop and motivate staff, providing leadership and career guidance.
Client:
- Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
- Travel as needed for meetings, data collection, and client visits.
- Assist in new client development and introduce new services.
- Collaborate with foreign offices and other service lines for global solutions.
- Oversee tax planning projects, including planning, oversight, and documentation.
- Draft technical documents and reports.
- Lead global teams on transfer pricing projects, research industry issues, and develop solutions.

- Manage documentation, data collection, and software tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor\’s degree with 6-8 years’ experience in tax consulting or corporate tax. PhD in Economics is desirable. Must have strong knowledge of U.S. transfer pricing rules, international tax, and tax compliance. Proven leadership and project management skills are required.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and internet research skills. Excellent economic database search skills.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Extensive supervisory duties including leading multinational teams, training, and quality assurance.
Work Environment:
- Standard indoor environment.
- Occasional long periods sitting at a computer.
- Regular interaction with employees and clients in person and remotely.
- Travel requirement: 30-40%.
