About the role
We are excited to offer a Finance Apprenticeship program with rotational placements across all departments within our Finance function, including Churchill Retirement, Churchill Estates Management, and the Churchill Foundation, all based in Ringwood.
The finance department offers diverse activities, such as payroll, pension administration, HMRC returns, BACS and cheque payments, bank reconciliations, invoice processing, ledger transactions, and financial reporting. You will be supported by a skilled team dedicated to helping apprentices develop essential skills.
This apprenticeship also promotes a professional, friendly, and family-oriented working environment where soft skills like communication, teamwork, and efficient working practices are cultivated.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5.30 pm, and Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
What qualification will I receive?
Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2, including the AAT Certificate in Accounting.
Opportunities for progression include enrolling onto the Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship upon successful completion.
About you
This role is busy and varied. To succeed, you will need:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High keyboard accuracy.
- Comfort with analyzing information.
- A proactive approach and discretion.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
Qualifications required upon joining:
- GCSE or equivalent in English (Grade A*- C / 9-4)
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths (Grade A* – B / 9-6)
