Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week)
Do you have an understanding of drug, alcohol, offending, and health-related issues, and experience working with adults in an addictions setting? Aquarius is looking for a Complex Needs Practitioner.
Join Aquarius Action Projects, part of Solihull Integrated Addiction Service (SIAS), which is a partnership delivering drug, alcohol, and gambling services for adults in Solihull.
Your role involves working with clients across various locations to support their substance use needs using a person-centred approach, helping them reduce risks, increase resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.
We seek an energetic, confident self-starter with a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Candidates with relevant experience and a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care will also be considered. You should have good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health issues, experience liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies, and engaging clients in various settings. Flexibility in working hours, confidentiality, excellent record keeping, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
