Mobile Combustion Engineer (Greater London & Home Counties)

Our client is seeking a Mobile Combustion Engineer for the Greater London and Home Counties area. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Boiler/Combustion Services and building services equipment in designated locations.
- Perform PPM and Reactive Works as assigned by the Helpdesk within the Commercial Gas contract.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Report to the line manager for all actions and contract-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with client protocols and procedures including ISO 9001, 14001, and OSHAS 18001.
- Follow best practices for maintenance, callouts, and reactive tasks to meet client expectations.
- Carry out regulatory activities in line with the Environmental Commercial Gas Quality System and QMS.
- Maintain plant and equipment for efficient operation.
- Complete work orders, adhere to SLAs, and follow maintenance systems.
- Perform diagnostics and plan remedial work.
- Identify spare parts needs and notify the Helpdesk.
- Fulfill contractual obligations for Commercial Gas.
- Complete maintenance and reactive work documentation.
- Provide engineering solutions and suggest improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Report incidents and maintain safety standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prioritize health and safety, report accidents or near misses.
- Assist with safety procedures and wear PPE.
- Follow safe handling and storage procedures for COSHH items.
- Report health issues during work.
- Use equipment correctly and ensure staff are trained.
- Maintain safety equipment integrity.
- Engage proactively with staff and clients.
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments.

- MET1 – Domestic gas meters
- CPA1 – Combustion analysis
- HTR1 – Gas fires & wall heaters
- COCN1 / CODNCO1 – Commercial gas safety
- ICPN1 – Commercial pipework installation
- CIGA1 – Commercial heating appliances
- HWB1 – Gas fired hot water boilers
- TPCP1A – Low-pressure pipework testing & purging
