Your new company
Hays are recruiting on behalf of an NI based Civil Engineering Contractor who require Site Engineers on a permanent basis to work on their NIW projects, setting out and supervising labour. This company is based in County Fermanagh and boast over 50 years of civil engineering expertise here in Northern Ireland, and are well placed to continue their rich heritage with future works secured on the N. Ireland Water Framework.
Engineering positions with this contractor will ensure you are well remunerated and have guaranteed steady work based solely in Northern Ireland. This client is open to exploring all the talent that Northern Ireland has to offer and as such, will be interviewing for Graduate, Intermediate and Senior Engineering roles.
Your new role
Applicants must be degree qualified or have suitable working history of civils works ideally but not essentially, within Water. You must be technically competent at setting out using a total station, taking levels and using AutoCAD. As Site Engineer, you must be confident in project delivery and be capable of supervising subcontractors and on-site plant and labour. Coving multiple sites, you will be part of a team that deliver a range of works on the NIW framework including treatment plants, pumping stations and base maintenance works.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered successful, applicants must be willing to travel throughout Northern Ireland. Further to this, our client is seeking to employ a Site Engineer who is keen to develop their career in the industry, holds attention to detail to the highest regard and can complete work on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
A driving license is essential, and you will ideally have experience of civils schemes preferably within the water sector.
