The Role

We are delighted to support our client, a reputable business in the aviation sector, in their search for a Stores Assistant to join their friendly and busy Materials department. This role involves supporting the operational flow of their workshop by ensuring all stock materials are managed efficiently and accurately. Reporting to the Materials Team Leader, you will work within a small team and play a key role in maintaining smooth processes and stock readiness for production.

  • Receiving incoming deliveries, checking against purchase orders, unpacking, and booking in against airworthiness certification. Reporting discrepancies if they occur.
  • Locating and moving goods after receipt, packaging in accordance with company procedures.
  • Packaging customer outgoing units for shipment following company procedures.
  • Loading and offloading vehicles.
  • Issuing materials to the production team for builds.
  • Preparing parts for repair.

Requirements

This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or further their career in a hands-on, production environment. No prior experience is required, but a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail are highly desirable.
