The opportunity:
Delegated Authority is a key part of what we do at Zurich and as we continue to develop and grow in this area of the market, we are looking to add a Delegated Portfolio Underwriter to our Delegated team. This exciting role is essential to the development and growth of our Delegated Authority business.
Working with our Delegated Partners the ideal candidate will provide portfolio management and underwriting expertise, whilst ensuring they deliver first-class service to our Partners and customers. Our delegated portfolio has a broad range of niche trades and risks so the ability to be flexible and provide creative solutions for our Partners is key.
So, what will you be doing?
As a Delegated Portfolio Underwriter, you will be managing an existing Delegated Authority portfolio and build relationships with our Delegated Partners whilst delivering outstanding service and profitable performance. A key responsibility will be supporting our growth aspirations by delivering on new business opportunities. This role is a market facing role, so it is important that you are great at communicating, relationship building and have a built-in passion for doing the right thing for our customers.
As a senior member of the team, you will have accountability and ownership for driving, analysing, and delivering a strong underwriting result across our portfolio.

What are we looking for?
You will have Delegated Authority or Portfolio Management experience.
Experienced in underwriting Property and Casualty lines of business.
Strong communicator and confident in making decisions.
We would like you to be comfortable challenging processes and decisions using your experience and attention to detail.
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise, always keeping the customer foremost in your mind.
