Job Summary
Responsibilities include management of a particular part of a tax process; day to day supervision of the implementation of tax savings projects; or assistance in the defense of Company tax positions in the audit arena. This position requires a strong technical tax background and the ability to perform the initial review of work from lower level staff.
Job Duties / Responsibilites:
-Prepares and maintains tax records, returns, reports, and other related materials. Participates in development and implementation of tax strategy devices.
-Legal means to minimize tax liability using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Recommends alternative tax treatments to alleviate or reduce tax burden.
-Determines proper financial accounting treatment of.
-Tax Transactions and ensures they are properly recorded
-Prepares regulatory reports.
Minimum Requirments:
Bachelor\’s Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience Required:
8 years of relevant tax experience.
