Job Title: Electrical Technician/Demonstrator
Salary: £25,875- £28,155
Location: West Suffolk College

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Electrical Technician/Demonstrator. You\’d be joining a education provider\’s highly regarded construction and engineering college, working alongside experienced teaching staff to help pass on technical skills to the next generation of electricians and engineers.

No teaching qualifications needed!

This role can be a fantastic pathway into a teaching career or a highly rewarding permanent position in a supportive, forward-thinking college environment.

Responsibilities

Support students in electrical and electrotechnical workshop lessons.

Assist with safeguarding responsibilities.

Prepare and set up materials and equipment for workshop activities.

Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all tools and equipment.

Order and manage workshop tools and materials in collaboration with teaching staff.

Maintain a safe and compliant workshop in line with current health and safety standards.

Qualifications

A qualification in Electrical Installation or a related field is preferred.

An alternative route into a teaching career with potential support for qualifications.
