Job Description:
In this high-profile security officer role, you will ensure the security and safety of premises and people at a prestigious motorsport client site.
An experienced Security Officer, with exceptional customer-focus, will carry out duties including:
- Managing access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Patrolling the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems
- Responding to customer requests and queries
- Checking and challenging ID passes professionally and courteously
- Activating and deactivating alarms, and unlocking/locking buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access
- Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and providing first aid if necessary
- Maintaining incident records using digital and paper systems
This ad hoc position covers annual leave and absence, with hours varying but typically 12-hour shifts from Monday to Sunday.
Flexibility to support colleagues is required as part of a small team.
An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential. To succeed, candidates should also have:
- Strong customer service skills and experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Experience in a customer-facing security role
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Five years of checkable history and references
- Ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC)
Additional useful but non-essential qualifications include:
- First Aid at Work qualification
- SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence
Full training, uniform, and safety equipment are provided. Access to additional resources will also be available.
