Job Description:
We’re on the lookout for a driven and ambitious eCommerce Business Development Manager to join our Sales team!
This role can be based in one of our UK offices or worked remotely from anywhere within the UK. Please note that applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
We\’re looking for someone who thrives on growth, is energised by new opportunities, and is passionate about finding and converting new business opportunities. You\’ll be actively reaching out to prospective clients and showcasing Visualsoft’s award-winning eCommerce solutions – from website builds and replatforming to our full suite of digital marketing services including Paid Search, Paid Social, Email Marketing, SEO, CRO, Creative Media, Marketplaces, and Affiliate Marketing.

Key responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify key strategic prospects for Visualsoft to partner with.
- Research the prospect to have relevant and meaningful conversations with them.
- Nurture and develop relationships with key partners/prospects until a live opportunity is identified.
- Use industry knowledge to spot and maximise any opportunity to bring on new business.
- Work to targets and set KPIs on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Understand a prospect’s pain points through consultative discovery meetings. to confidently recommend appropriate solutions to their challenges.
- Compile proposals based on discovery and insight to recommend the right solution to present to the prospect.
Department KPIs
- To achieve the agreed Monthly Recurring Revenue target
- Achieve monthly prospect meetings target
- Achieve self-generated proposal target
- Align goals to business overarching goals/objectives
- Support the departmental goals. Develop and agree on and achieve set objectives.
Personal Development
- Identify and agree personal development needs, and take actions to address these.
Requirements
- Sales experience, ideally selling eCommerce and digital marketing solutions.
- Proficiency in sales methodologies such as BANT and MEDDPICC.
- Successful and proven track record of prospecting for new clients.
- Experienced in face to face selling to all levels of the business, including senior-level stakeholders.
- Proven track record in over-achieving targets.
- Someone who is keen to learn new skills and will actively seek out opportunities for personal development.
- Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team as well as working autonomously.
- Must be able to keep accurate records on the progress of all open and closed deals.
- Full UK Driving licence for the ability to visit clients sites
