As part of the Instruments and Enterprise Services (IES) division, our mission is to connect, digitize and unify the customer experience platform, making customer support more productive and clearer, and significantly enhancing customer experiences for academic researchers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, hospitals and clinical diagnostic labs, and government agencies, all focused on advancing scientific discovery and improving health outcomes. We are seeking a passionate and driven Product Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow and innovate.
A Day In The Life
As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our products. Reporting to the Product Management Lead, you will be instrumental in managing the product lifecycle, engaging with customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Here’s what your day might look like:
Product Lifecycle Ownership
- Optimize product performance through lifecycle analysis and product optimization.
- Collect and analyze customer and internal data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful product launches.
Customer Interaction
- Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Interface with sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams to drive product success.
Key Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle and Commercialization:
- Develop customer-facing content to support training and marketing efforts.
- Manage commercial launch activities including SKU setup and channel loading.
- Collaborate with global sales and operations teams to ensure successful program adoption.
Product Monitoring And Optimization
- Manage day-to-day user feedback and develop reports and key indicators of customer satisfaction.
- Work with technical, operational, and internal business teams to address customer requests and optimize product performance.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to inform product decisions and in-market strategy.
Product Launch And Go-to-Market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, Training, and Commercial, to ensure successful product launches.
- Act as the product expert during launches, connecting with internal and external teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution.
- Own post-launch hypercare monitoring and report on program launch outcomes.
Keys To Success
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience
- Demonstrated ability in Product Management, preferably with software products or Digital Solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Experience in the Life Science industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in SAP, Power BI, and SFDC a plus.
