About The Role
Join us at SMT GB as a Fleet Administrator, where you’ll play a vital role in our operations! This is your opportunity to ensure the smooth management and maintenance of our fleet. You’ll be the go-to person for all fleet-related activities, keeping our vehicles in top shape and enhancing our service delivery. What you will be doing:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Fleet Manager and QESH Team
- Manage reports on driving offences and incidents
- Liaise with drivers, line managers, and insurers regarding accidents
- Prepare fleet-related reports as needed
- Assist with documentation for external FORS Audits
- Adhere to SMT GB standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental care
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
- Experience in fleet administration or similar role preferred
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Proactive with problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Familiarity with fleet management software
