A market leading, national electrical contractors, based in Yorkshire, operating nationwide are looking to fill an exciting vacancy for a qualified electrician, with aspirations to progress to being a site supervisor and more. This progressive company are looking for a skilled Electrician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, predominantly on large commercial installation and refurbishment projects. Working partly in the local area but also throughout the UK as business needs dictate, staying away from home with accommodation and a meal allowance provided. Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment- Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and perform repairs or replacements- Test electrical systems using specialized tools to ensure proper functioning- Follow local building codes and safety regulations when performing installations or repairs- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used Experience:- Proven experience as an Electrician holding City & Guilds 2391 and 18th addition qualifications- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Good communication and teamwork abilities Pay: £19.32 starting rate plus overtime Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week Benefits: * Company car * Company pension * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Overtime * Weekend availability Experience: * electrical: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) * CSCS (required) * 18th Edition (required) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
